"My son was having surgery and we needed a ramp for wheelchair access from the street. Bob coordinated with the Residential Architecture Committee about the design, material and configuration. His crew arrived while we were in the hospital. The ramp was completed before my son was released to go home. We love it. We even gave it a name."

"Why Are You Moving, Anyway?" The Business Monthly, November, 2007.
Once upon a time, you bought the house in which you are living because you liked it ... or maybe even "loved" it. Yet for some reason, you are thinking about selling it and are worrying about the unstable real estate market.
Perhaps you feel your house is too big or too small to accommodate your growing family. But rather than stressing about moving, why not think of ways you can improve your house to enhance its function or appeal to you?
"A Disability Doesn't Mean Moving!" The Business Monthly, February, 2007.
We all know that people are living longer and healthier than ever before. The challenge this fact of life presents to many baby boomers, however, is that many 50-something adults are facing health, mobility, and housing issues for their parents. In fact, while the 50-somethings are helping their parents, it is the perfect time to begin thinking about their own plans for living out their retirement years.
"Ready to Buy That Property? STOP!" Baltimore Business Journal, September 1-7, 2006.
You have searched long and hard, and finally found the property that will meet your needs. Whether it's location, square footage, or even the direction the sun beams in your windows, you are excited, relieved, and ready to sign on the dotted line to buy this property.
"Plan Ahead to Stay Safe & Independent In Your Home" Generations: Active Lifestyles for the 50+ Generation, October 2006.
People are living longer and healthier lives. We value independence and seek to maintain it as long as possible. So it makes sense to plan for and make certain modifications now to maximize safety and accommodate future injuries or physical disabilities...
Bob has also developed an Accessibility Checklist to assist you in gathering information for the purpose of evaluating facilities under the American Disabilities Act of 1990.
And as a Facilities Manager, Bob has reached out to educate peers in his field by authoring two chapters of the textbook:
